e-Services

Recently me and my trainees visited the yearly e-Services Philippines (ESP) conference and trade show exhibits that brings together the major players in the Philippine IT industry. And the "ESP Awards" is part of the event to select the best products and services offered by the exhibitors. The event is organized by the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry under its export promotions arm, the Center for International Trade Exhibitions and Missions (CITEM).

There were around 200 IT industries who presented their products and services. This year’s event was a very colorful one. There were lots of beautiful booths and banners. Some have a very attractive table covers with their company name written on it. It was quite effective seducing visitors to visit their booths. Others had sophisticated gadgets, and lots of giveaways presented on top of their fine 2 colors table cloths covered tables.

For the 6th straight year, our company AWS emerged as a winner again during the “e-Services Philippines 2008 (ESP) Awards” contest held on February 2008, at the SMX Convention Center, Manila. For this year we won grand prize award for our ATM Offshore Project. Last year(2007 ) was a really big win for the Company as it bagged no less than three Grand Prize Awards. It won the Most Creative Application of the Year for its High Definition ClipStation, the Offshore Project of the Year for the Manufacturing System Development for Sumitomo Construction Machineries, Inc., and finally, our AWS Center for Technology Incubation or ACTION took home the Outstanding Company Program.
