It requires specialized training, education and skills to view, analyze and modify the scan to optimize the information in the image. They may get those trainings in hospitals, vocational or technical schools, and ultrasound schools that offers formal training. The job outlook for ultrasound tech or sonographers is generally good. It has become increasingly attractive since more and more patients are seeking a safer options, and ultrasound is one of those needed in the procedures.
