not much

there is not much for today... i've been doing my usual and routinary activities...everyday, it would be nice and lucky enough if i got to finish one task...been bored lately... i don't know why... it's just that learning suddenly stop...excitement was gone... motivation is not that high... i even beg for someone to motivate me or crack a joke just to keep me moving... i was trying not to think of it... divert my attention to some interesting stuff thinking that i would lead me to work hard... to think and think more... but sometimes it hurts...as of now, i have no luck... i've been complaining to myself why had i become wasted that well in-fact this would be the right time for to show-off and let them know that i had done something nice and good... but unfortunately myself betray me...even now i'm battling with my own shadow... who will win that i don't know...

death

today is grandpa’s burial… he will be laid down on his final resting place…. inside a fine shiny coffin buried in a 6 feet deep grave in his final moments… i can hear moans, crying, weeping, shouting, the pain in their hearts, of loosing a loveone…sending him off to a place no one knows, no one understand… "have a safe trip…and peace be with you.." other’s would utter… "bring me with you…" my grandma would beg with tears flowing… such a sad day… a sad moment… a sad life…

simple living

I always wanted to live a simple life. My goal was then be simple while living life to the fullest. But i guess my definition of simplicity seems differenc. Simple living or voluntary simplicity according to wiki is a lifestyle individuals choose to minimize the 'more-is-better' pursuit of wealth and consumption. Adherents choose simple living for a variety of reasons, such as spirituality, health, increase in quality time for family and friends, stress reduction, conservation,social justice or anti-consumerism. Others choose it for personal taste, personal economy or as participating in sustainable development.

This maybe true to most of us. But for me, is different. You may think that it's a shallow definition but for me that is simple. For me simplicity is the basic. I have the basic in life and i have no problems in acquiring it. Not overdoing things or making things complicated. Free of troubles and worries while doing the normal life's routines. But that question is, Can i handle it? Probably my definition of simple is not the simple that i want. Even now, i can't fully grasp what simplicity is for me. Even now i am not living in simplicity.

According to Duane Elgin, "we can describe voluntary simplicity as a manner of living that is outwardly more simple and inwardly more rich, a way of being in which our most authentic and alive self is brought into direct and conscious contact with living."

The second language I want to learn is French. I want to go to Paris, on it’s Eiffel tower and meet their lovely ladies. They say French is a romantic language. I have been trying my best to read this French language guide book, but unfortunately I learned only a few. Also Paris Hotels were considered among the best in the world as most visitors said. A romantic and grandious Hotel Paris would be a perfect match for its sweet language. Staying in Paris and experiencing their sweet Paris bed and breakfast accomodations will definitely make you say, “This is the best moment of my life!”

grandpa bids farewell

9 PM on April 6, 2008 my grandpa who was in his bed in his humble abode utter his last word… "farewell" then had his last breath…i felt sad.. very sad… he was the nice lolo(grandpa) i had… we always remember him as very strict, hyper and strong even at his age… we would never forget how he would lead his grand sons and grand daugthers marching like crazy from our compound to the highway outside during the new year… we were like a band with lolo as our lead majorette… he had this baton and we have our own different instruments…we would never let the new year passed away without making a big noise as we shout out loud it…then would stay their looking at those amazing fireworks in the sky…that’s lolo… we wish you the best and happiness in the other world… may you rest in peace…

finally Krispy Kreme opened it’s sixth branch along Ayala Avenue, Makati City. at last they had finally listened to the longings of the Makati people… i’m very glad that it is just a block away from my office… a 3 to 5 minutes walk is worth for a delicious donut… when it opened last March 28, as early as 6 AM you can see a long line of people eager and waiting for Krispy Kreme to open. You know why? the first customer will get a 1 year supply of donuts, the next group of customers will get 6 months supply of donuts, and the 3rd group i think until the 300th person will get a 1 month supply of tasty and delicious donuts. ehehehehe now i don’t have any reason not to bring with me Krispy Kreme donuts whenever i went home to Davao.
